Since I slacked off on doing this… Here is my Top 10 taken from JP Button<\/a> (https:\/\/www.jpbutton.com\/?page_id=1516<\/a>):<\/p>\n

What is \u300c10\u5927\u30cb\u30e5\u30fc\u30b9\u300d\uff1f<\/p>\n

10\u5927\u30cb\u30e5\u30fc\u30b9 (juu dai nyuusu), is literally a list of 10 big(\u5927) bits of news(\u30cb\u30e5\u30fc\u30b9) or events that have happened to you over the past year.<\/p>\n

In Japan, the end of the year is filled with parties and drinking, much more so than the beginning of a new one. As the next year fast approaches, people will hold a \u5fd8\u5e74\u4f1a (bou-nen-kai) , or a gathering (\u4f1a) to forget (\u5fd8) the current year (\u5e74). This is accomplished through copious amounts of alcohol, and often times, the telling of one\u2019s 10\u5927\u30cb\u30e5\u30fc\u30b9. It\u2019s like a personal Top-10 list.<\/p>\n

This list can contain any 10 events that you feel have affected you deeply, most often in a positive way. As we all close another year here on Earth, (and thus another 25 years in Vana\u2019diel), I felt it would be fun to combine a little bit of Japanese culture with the community\u2019s penchant for touting in-game accomplishments. Everyone likes sharing their success, so here\u2019s a perfect chance!<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s an example of what a list might look like:<\/p>\n

You can include equipment you\u2019ve gotten:<\/p>\n

10. Acquired Dancer AF Attire<\/p>\n

9. Completed all Automaton attachments<\/p>\n

You can include things that were special to you.<\/p>\n

8. Got promoted to Sackholder in my LS<\/p>\n

7. Convinced my friend to sign up for the game<\/p>\n

Maybe you conquered some personal challenges, however big or small.<\/p>\n

6. Beat all the Level-20 Avatar quests<\/p>\n

5. Solo\u2019d all my Scholar Artifact quests<\/p>\n

Perhaps endgame is more your thing.<\/p>\n

4. Completed Relic Weapon: Claustrum<\/p>\n

Or e-peen.<\/p>\n

3. SOLO tanked Cerb against ally of DD\u2019s<\/p>\n

The more creative of you out there could write from your character\u2019s point of view.<\/p>\n

2. Teamed up with Lilisette to catch Cait Sith<\/p>\n

And game-related stuff is okay too<\/p>\n

1. Opened a new website and received amazing support from the best MMO community in the world.<\/p>\n

10. Obtained BLU AF!
\n9. Managed to put together a small Assault set
\n8. Got Potent Belt and Chiv. Chain when I thought I would have to start pulling out money to get them.
\n7. Finally got Salvage access!
\n6. Got sea!
\n5. Had a lot of fun and challenging times with my CoP set getting to sea and beyond
\n4. Started my FFXI\/WoW jTV channel and am starting to meet all sorts of new people that way
\n3. Won money from the Moogle Bonanza
\n2. Was around to witness Orophen getting 75 RNG
